Warranty and Policies

Warranty

  • Return policy: All products purchased at EXTREME COMPUTERS are subject to this policy. Within the return period on any item purchased (15 days unless otherwise specified on the invoice or sales receipt), EXTREME COMPUTERS will refund the amount paid less a minimum of $5 and up to 15% restocking fee, which ever is greater, if all original parts are brought back (original manuals, disk, cables, boxes, etc.) in re-salable condition. Due to licensing and copyright laws, we do not accept returns on software. Absolutely no returns will be taken without a sales receipt or invoice. Absolutely no returns allowed on special order items, all sales are final. All items purchased on clearance, on sale, or on special promotion, may not be returned, all sales are final. All sales are final after 15 days.
  • Warranty policy: All products purchased at EXTREME COMPUTERS are subject to this policy. All products purchased from EXTREME COMPUTERS are covered by our 30 day limited warranty against defects. EXTREME COMPUTERS 30 day limited warranty is a defective exchange policy that provides for either repair or replacement (at our sole discretion) of merchandise that has been confirmed as defective by either the manufacture or EXTREME COMPUTERS. Hardware confirmed as defective by the product manufacture or EXTREME COMPUTERS will either be exchanged or repaired at our sole discretion within the first 30 days of ownership only. Repairs or replacement may take 5 to 10 business days. After 30 days the product manufacturer’s warranty is the only warranty in effect. Most products (not all) purchased at EXTREME COMPUTERS come with a manufacturer’s warranty of at least one year and up to three years. EXTREME COMPUTERS will be happy to assist our customers in the warranty process with manufacturer free of charge (customer must pay for shipping). Terms and conditions may vary by product or manufacturer.
  • Personal computer warranty: Systems purchased from EXTREME COMPUTERS may or may not be covered by our exclusive one year parts & lifetime service and support warranty. Your invoice or sales receipt will indicate you warranty coverage. Lifetime service and support covers all in-store labor (windows operating system, software conflicts, viruses, Spyware, tune-ups, upgrades & pretty much anything you can dream of) for as long as you own the computer. This warranty follows the computer and is transferable to other owners but only on the computer originally purchased from EXTREME COMPUTERS with a lifetime service and support warranty tag. The one year parts warranty given with new system purchases covers the parts against manufacturers defect only. During the first year of ownership if a part becomes defective we will repair or replace it with a new or refurbished part of equal or greater value (at our sole discretion). After 1 year the product manufacturer's warranty is the only warranty in effect. Most products (not all) purchased at EXTREME COMPUTERS come with a manufacturer's warranty of at least one year and up to three years.   • What voids the part warranty? Your part warranty with EXTREME COMPUTERS will be null and void if: You damage the product you purchase in any way. (This includes accidents). You remove, modify or damage any stickers that contain serial numbers, part numbers, manufactured date, invoice number, or vendor code of any kind.
  • Returned check policy: All products sold are property of EXTREME COMPUTERS until accounts are paid in full. All returned checks are subject to service charges & collection costs. On all delinquent accounts you agree to pay all collection costs including attorney fees and court costs. All accounts are to be paid in full within 30 days of invoice date. A finance charge of $15 minimum and up to 3% of balance (whichever is greater) per month will be charged on all delinquent accounts.
  • Price list and quote policy: We diligently strive to provide as accurate information as possible. However, as manufacturers and suppliers provide a large proportion of this information, we make no warranty expressed or implied with respect to accuracy of the information, including price, product descriptions or product specifications. Both the product and manufacturer names are used only for the purpose of identification.
  • Service policy: We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. All service jobs are worked on in the order they are received (first come first served).
